Tome Of Maps: Forest Edition! A Forest Battlemap Book for your TTRPG Games!
Created by Snowy's Maps
The Tome of Maps: Forest Edition is an 82-paged physical dry-erasable forest battlemaps book for your favourite TTRPG games! I have designed them personally with portability and flexibility in mind - so there are three different ways to play.
If you have limited space, playing on a single or double page would be for you. HOWEVER, if you like big combats, then you can put two books together to form a massive A2 battlemap.
Latest Updates from Our Project:
1st Stretch Goal Unlocked - and 69 Backers! Noice!

Hey all! I've been so excited to write this update - and I am doing it now while I have the chance! Today, we hit 69 backers and I wanted to thank you all as I got the opportunity to take a screenshot of it... XD
Real Talk - 1st Stretch Goal Unlocked!
Okay, now for the more fun stuff! I seriously wanted to say thank you for hitting our first stretch goal and LESS than TWO weeks into the campaign. This is the biggest one we've done so far and honestly wasn't even sure I'd get this far. But anyway, what was actually unlocked?
The first thing we have unlocked is a level 3 oneshot/slot-in session for DnD5e and PF2e, which will include PDFs, tokens, maps, monsters, and a FoundryVTT V11+ module for ALL backers.
These are short quests/oneshots that focus on creating content for DMs in the level ranges of 1-10 for DnD5e and PF2e and slot directly into your campaign. These are usually themed around 1-2 main maps, minimising the need for prep and optimise playtime. The map this one will be themed around can be seen below:
Since this campaign launched, I did release another one for free - a level 1 introductory oneshot for PF2e and DnD5e. If you haven't yet, I'd definitely urge you to check it out!
Murders at Lorelahc Manor is live on Kickstarter! This adjustable 5e mystery campaign features a lavish underground ball and a chronomancer's party gone wrong. This campaign is designed for four player characters with an average party level of 3, 5, or 7 and has an average runtime of 15-25 hours. It also includes the following and more:
A prologue murder mystery with a time travel twist!
An epic mystery at a sprawling masquerade
6 maps with 50+ keyed locations.
Over 20 fully illustrated NPCs with secrets of their own.
10 dangerous monsters designed for a fast-paced mystery.
2 devious murder weapons your players won’t see coming!
Assorted Notes from the Unearthly Archive is a dense print-on-demand packet over-stuffed with inspiring subclasses, inventive spells, unique items, and flexible NPCs to expand the horizons of your 5e game.
In this book, you will find 5 subclasses to fill your games with unique character concepts that are versatile enough to fit into almost any setting and compelling enough to inspire new factions, legends, and quests. Use the included Exemplar NPC stat blocks to fill your worlds with rivals, mentors, peers, and enemies that mirror your player character’s powers and abilities. And use the thematic magic items based on each subclass as MacGuffins, Rewards, and Goals.
Thank you all for the amazing support! ~Snowy
Got a BIT carried away....

Hey all, welcome back to another update! I just wanted to share some more sneak peeks and some...interesting tests I've been doing with the battlemap book!
First of all, we are REALLY close to hitting the first stretch goal (literally one physical book away!), so be sure to share this project around as we unlock a free level 3 oneshot for PF2e and DnD5e! :D
Inspired by Reddit!
I MAY have gotten a little bit inspired by some overexcited DMs on r/DnD last week, so naturally we set up a scene where an evil necromancer summons several creatures via a ritual circle (this is red food dye - not blood!).
Not blood!
However, things don't go well for him...and he ends up perishing. Here, I wiped the book clean to see the food dye's effect...and it wiped fully off!
Alas! The death of a necromancer!
I probably would NOT recommend using food dye because my fingers are still stained a few hours later, but was really interesting to see that it came off with NO problem! XD
Community Spotlight - Blood, Rum and Thunder: A 5e DnD Campaign!
A voyage mad and dangerous enough for only the hardiest crew, Blood, Rum & Thunder has you press-ganged into protecting a package of vital importance, and forced to deliver it all the way across the Allium Sea. Naval battles dominate the open waters, so the only hope is to negotiate the perils of the pirate-controlled archipelago known as the Thorns. Whether you were previously an honest sailor, a disgraced navy officer, or a wealthy smuggler, it matters not: you're all pirates now…
This sail-by-the skin-of-your-teeth campaign includes new and easy mechanics for fun naval combat, 12 new subclasses and 2 entirely new classes (the wavesinger and the corsair)! Players get their own physical or digital ‘player’s guide’, so they can immerse themselves as deeply in the lore of the Allium and its various factions as the GM! Introduce a little chaos with Pirate Legends that may help or hinder your progress as your GM sees fit!
There’s so much to explore in Blood, Rum & Thunder so go check it out here:
Demons rage in the undertown of Las Staand! Can YOU stop their rampage, and discover the secret of the book called Iak’m’s Nigh?
The Gray’vn Gate was designed by the Dr’Ow’Th to keep Derthlanders out of their empire. Can YOU solve its puzzles, bypass its deathtraps and overcome its guardians?
In the ancient Tower of Sh’Ot’Ra, a madman controls a weapon of mass destruction created with interplanar technology! Can YOU stop him and end St. Avon’s Madness?
3 all new, Underdark-themed adventures - fully play-tested One-Shots for 5e and OSR systems for 9th-10th level characters, including full stat blocks for both old and new 5e and OSR/1e monsters, new magic items and grid/grid-less maps, for $6 AU (about $4 US) – unbeatable value!
Play the adventures as One-Shots or as a conclusion of the St. Avon’s Madness campaign that began with Shotglass Adventures #1: The Madness of St. Avon!
That's all for now! ~Snowy
Mini Campaign Update and Clarifications (RE: Roll20)
– Sat, Jul 27, 2024 at 01:10:16 PM
Hey all, a mini update from me here regarding the status of this campaign - and don't worry! It is good news!
Retail Tier
We have introduced a retailer tier so local gaming shops are now able to purchase the books at a discount and trial them out in their stores. If you have a local store that you'd love to see this book in - please direct them this way! I'd love to chat! (Also we get to hit stretch goals faster :D)
I'm going to be editing the delivery breakdown to account for this, although this may take a couple of days.
We are currently working on getting an ISBN number for the book and getting it inserted into the global database as well. :)
Roll20 Fulfilment Clarification
I will also be adding this to the FAQ but the Roll20 package will be in the form of a module/adventure and all backers at the VTT tier and above will be provided with a coupon when this is all set up and ready to go. The Roll20 team have already approved this - so there won't be any delay post-campaign there!
Testing The Dry-Erase Compatibility
Shortly before this Kickstarter launched we got our samples from our printer - which I thoroughly enjoyed testing! I just wanted to showcase this here, posted on my TikTok account yesterday:
The project I wanted to highlight today is a set of 3D printable STL woodland witches, which I thought were fantastic and absolutely suited the theme of this Kickstarter project!
Anexeo's Forge presents "Woodland Witches: Female Pinup 3D printable STL" a Fun Collection of beautiful, cruel, and somewhat Cute witches, we are offering all our models at a 60% off deal, that is 6 STL for just $15. Happy painting to y'all!!
Above: A beautiful showcase of one such witch you get as part of the deal!
That's all for now! Expect more in the coming days. ;) ~Snowy
Fully funded! Onwards and upwards!

Hey everyone! First update post and SO SOON! Thank you SO much for the amazing support so far - we have absolutely smashed the funding goal in just ONE day and can only go onwards and upwards from here.
Early Bird Ending Soon!
First of all, a reminder. Four hours from now, early bird for the physicals will be over as we transition out of the first 48 hours. If you know someone that would like the battlemap book 25% off, then please share this with them before it's too late!
Sneak Peeks from DungeonBits
Next, I wanted to share some more sneak peeks with you - albeit in a strange form! I've been watching DungeonBits for a little while now - who makes excellent TTRPG tips, guides and other hilarious pieces of content! Please check him out via the link above!
When I approached Ellis about covering the battlemap books, he was very eager to make this work. As a thank you, I sent over the latest prototypes, which he got his hands on yesterday! Needless to say, I think he was more than excited for them!
A very excited Ellis (AKA DungeonBits), who tagged me in this yesterday! XD
As you can probably see in the photo, the entire book is laminated and dry erase compatible! We also tested several different markers on them and they just rubbed off clean! We were more than impressed with the quality of these prints from our printer and in the coming days and weeks I will be sharing much more with you! :D
Community Spotlight
Also typical with my campaigns is that I now share projects I really like the look of and think will be compatible with my Kickstarter too!
This time around, I want to recommend Ert's Treehouse's latest Kickstarter - Festival of the Harvest Moon - a short introductory campaign for levels 1-3! Here's a little synopsis!
With the Harvest Moon Festival rapidly approaching, all sorts of interesting people have arrived from far and wide to revel in the celebrations. With the famous festival about to get underway, the adventurers party and feast in the joyous fiesta. The fun is cut short as disaster strikes when devious Kuo-Toa capture villagers for their schemes...
Also I may or may not have made a map or two for this awesome Kickstarter a little while back - so it probably comes as no surprise when I say I am looking forward to its release! Please check them out by clicking the image above. :D
Thank you all for the amazing support thus far, it's been an absolutely wild ride and it's just beginning! No doubt I will have more to share with you soon!
