The Tome of Maps: Forest Edition is an 82-paged physical dry-erasable forest battlemaps book for your favourite TTRPG games! I have designed them personally with portability and flexibility in mind - so there are three different ways to play.
If you have limited space, playing on a single or double page would be for you. HOWEVER, if you like big combats, then you can put two books together to form a massive A2 battlemap.

Progress! And a Front Cover Change

Hey all, I wanted to provide you with some little updates with what's been going on in the past nearly two weeks since the campaign ended - oh and happy September!
Current Progress
We are currently on track with our expectations of releasing content in October, here's our progress on various little projects within the Kickstarter itself:
Maps -> all of the maps are now complete, and we are working on the VTT versions now
Roll20/FoundryVTT -> the FoundryVTT module has now been completed and is ready to go. Roll20 is still a work-in-progress.
Covers of the book -> we are working on a new design for the front cover to make it more consistent with future battlemap books. And we are actively working on the back cover to make it more suitable for retail! :D
Stretch goals! - still a work-in-progress but I did start making the monsters! ^^

While you're waiting...
While you are waiting for the rewards of this Kickstarter, I just wanted to let you know that I am currently running a free trial on my Patreon which contains A LOT of maps in the form of JPGs, Foundry modules, and now oneshots for 5e/PF2e. Hey all! This is it - the campaign is over...already! I just wanted to thank you all so much for your support - it has been a wild ride! Let's go over some key information and dates in the meantime!
Campaign In Review - How'd We Do?

Surprisingly, a few people have been surprised that I actually do Kickstarter campaigns in addition to my Patreon,Snowy's Maps, where I now have a backlog of 200+ (free - and tbh probably more by this point) maps - so feel free to check it out and give me a follow over there too! :D

Today - 20th August 2024: Later today, a Kickstarter survey will go out to ALL backers. I have decided that I DEFINITELY want to make another battlemap book and I want to know what theme YOU would like next. This will be the first of TWO surveys for PHYSICAL backers.
Next fortnight - 21st August-4th September 2024: While a fair bit of the campaign is finished, we will be continuing to do some work in the background to make sure everything is polished (like the book's back cover, FoundryVTT and Roll20 modules). Additionally, I will be syncing BackerKit to the Kickstarter campaign and start sending out surveys to PHYSICAL backers for addresses!
Next 6-8 weeks - mid-end October 2024: Here, we will be putting in our order with our printer and receiving/packaging up the books to be shipped. Digital rewards will go out when the physical rewards are starting to get shipped.
I hope to have a more specific timeline in the coming weeks and will keep you updated throughout the process!

Second Stretch Goal Unlocked! And JUST 48 Hours LEFT!!

Hey all, I wanted to thank you all so much for the support so far - it has been an absolutely wild ride! With just 48 hours to go, I am so proud of how far we've come from our first Kickstarter! We also smashed our second stretch goal yesterday but I was unable to get an update out at the time. Here's what we unlocked!
£3000 - 5 Forest-Themed Mini Monsters - UNLOCKED!
For this stretch goal, we will be making 5 forest-themed monsters ranging from CR/Level 1-5 for DnD5e/PF2e. This will be a similar setup to the zine from previously, where a description of its physical appearance and tactics will be provided alongside the statblock and art. We will provide a PDF and a FoundryVTT module for this!
I haven't thought too much about the monsters yet but I REALLY want to make a carnivorous tree, featuring this sorta art from Dean Spencer! XD
At this point I am unsure if we will hit the next stretch goal but if you want to give us the best chances of doing so - please share this project around within the next 48 hours! Here's what we could unlock!
£5000 - Forest Themed Oneshot!
That's right! We will be making a DnD5e/PF2e forest-themed oneshot as well! This will likely include 1-2 new forest-themed maps, as well as homebrew monsters, and a FoundryVTT (V11+) module.

Hey all! I just wanted to share another little milestone that we hit earlier today and oh boy! I am excited for this one. In the meantime - I will share another few pieces as well!
These numbers are just INSANE to me and for that I want to thank you! Also, I did the maths - almost a third of all books so far will be going the the US! That's crazy! :D
I am hoping to show some more sneak peeks before the end of the week! In the meantime, if you are curious what I've been up to, I've been sharing a few snippets on TikTok/YouTube - be warned it is mostly surrounding fixes to my Patreon. However, if you are interested in the creator side of things, the next one should be releasing the next video in the next hour or two, so stay tuned!
